Life at f/stops… Part 2

After long couple of weeks, I am so excited to be going out of town for a couple of days. We are off to Boston to see our friends! I love visiting Boston… in September! There might not be a recipe to share this weekend but I am sure I will be back with lots of pictures.

The stops I want to show from my life this week are from my favorite shopping places. Some pictures from an antique mall , the Depot in Concord, NC,  which used to be an old mill. Who would have known I would enjoy antique shopping? Definitely it was not in my radar until my SIL started her blog, Scissors&Spatulas and I started mine. Now we became regulars and I take my friends with me to spread the antique love. Then several pictures from the Halal Market on North Sharon Amity Road in Charlotte. The owner is so organized and bringing lots of Turkish items lately. And some snapshots from a cute, little Davidson Farmers’ Market… Enjoy and have a great long weekend…

OMG, those photos are awesome! Not only do I want to go back to shop, but now I want to bring my camera, the good one! It might takes us half a day to get through the entire thing. I’m dying to go back, so just let me know! Hope you have a blast in Boston! Let’s get together when you get back!

Umm..half a day? Let’s say I think we will be glad that they are selling simple lunch and snack items in the store, so we do not have to leave for lunch :)

Lovely photos! I’m really liking this series and look forward for more to come. You’re inspiring me to get my camera out of AV mode and start practicing. I’ve still got a long way to go before I’m comfortable with manual mode.

Shelley, I wish I could say I took all those at the manual mode, but I have not …I am still mostly on the AV mode and trying to get comfortable with the manual mode.
The reason I am putting down A, speed and ISO is to see the different effects in each picture. I feel like If I can see what low ISO or different apertures do, then I can wrap my head around it better. Then I will be better prepared to choose the right manual mode.
