I will be back, San Fran…
I am not sure what makes me want to go back (even move) to San Francisco?
It could be because people are so nice, they offer you cookies (medicated ones at that) in a public park within five feet of a cop? (no, we did not take it if you were wondering.)
Or could be because of the glamorous Castro neighborhood.
Most likely for me, because of the huge number of dogs happily running after a tennis ball or prancing all around the city with their owners in tow.
Can’t argue the fact that we could find hundreds of great places to eat within a walking distance. Whether it would be eating delicious pastries after a 50 minute-wait at Tartine Bakery (Seriously 50 min?? It is good..but…) or small dumpling place like Mama Ji’s where there is no wait at all.
And that I can find the kind of sea side I love right outside the city within an hour driving. Or go to the beach just to hang out in the sand.
Not to mention, Sonoma and Napa Valley are almost right around the corner , within easy driving distance, so I can go for my wine fix (that seems to be high on everyone’s list!).
My dilemma is that SF is just the kind of city I would love to live in but just not the rent I would want to pay. When someone solves that problem, I am moving!

The US has never been top of our travel agenda but San Francisco has always been a bit of a draw for us. Your pics have confirmed why! :)

Beautiful pics (Cok Guzel)…..Love those ‘stretcars’. I live in Toronto and we had the same ones but in red…now they have replaced them with newer ones and they don’t look so retro like the old ones…glad you had a great trip.

these vintage ones were fun to look at. They have in all different colors. Would love to visit Toronto sometime! Have heard nice things and have some friends up there.

I love San Francisco but I agree with you on that rent thing! Great food, though. Terrific pictures – thanks.

I lived in the South West for 15 years, and only went to SF for two days for work. Someday I plan to go back, and catch my boys playing a game of football (the 49ers!) Your photos are beautiful, Hugs, Terra
